Presentation of a 3D model of ancient Palmyra

On 22 August 2020, the completed 3D model of ancient Palmyra was presented in Saint Petersburg. It was created by the Russian Academy of Sciences Institute for the History of Material Culture (IHMC) and is the world’s most precise and detailed digital model of the current state of the site.
